Booking a flight:
When booking a flight, it is essential to know when is the best time to travel to your desired destination. In Haiti the weather changes a lot; for example, April to June is considered the rainy season. Then, August to October is labeled as hurricane season. It is recommended to avoid these months they are not the safest for travel. The ideal months to travel to beautiful Haiti are between November and March, plus there are many unique festivals and carnivals during these months to attend.
When looking at airfare prices, they can start to rack up, especially if you are not traveling alone. It is important to look at the cheaper days to travel, such as Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. If you are "balling on a budget," you might want to consider connecting flights or buying one seat at a time, as buying in a group can cause the price to go up.
Spirit Airlines and JetBlue airlines are great airlines to help stay within your budget and are very affordable. Most of their flights have at least one stop or more, so it is crucial to keep a flexible schedule when choosing dates and flights. A one-week round trip averages out to between $250 to $400 per ticket for these airlines. There are many airlines out there that all offer different pricings, flight times, and air time; thus, make sure to check which option is best for your trip.
There are a few must-haves when traveling to Haiti, and a passport is number one. You may not enter or leave without a valid passport. Number two on what not to forget is they correct currency, Haitian gourde, and the right amount to bring. The average gourde a tourist spends a day is between 3,100 to 4,700 which is $50 to $75 U.S. dollars, which may or may excluding your hotel's price and extra souvenir you may want to purchase.

Choosing your hotel can be stressful, and time consumming. There many choices out there and finding the perfect one to match with your preference in accommodations can be hard. Depending on what activities and places you want to visit is where you should think about getting a hotel at. The pricing for hotels can vary a lot, but can be as cheap as $20 a night all the way up to a high end resort.
NH Haiti El Rancho, is located just south of Port-au-Prince. The hotel is near many historical monuments and local football matches, with great reviews, resulting in a 4.2 out of 5 ratings.
Residences Estang Du Jong, is located a little more south of Port-au-Prince and A bit more on the affordable side. The hotel is near a significant road to travel to places quickly and has free parking, resulting in a 4 out of 5 stars rating.
Best Western Premir Detion-ville, is in downtown Port-au-Prince and is located near many restaurants, bars, and even a few galleries. The convenience that comes with this hotel is has a 4 out of 5 ratings.
Kaliko Beach Club, is right in front of the beach and beautiful waters, with free parking and near a major road for easy traveling. This high-end 3-star hotel is excellent for beach lovers with a 3.9 out of 5-star rating.
Royal Decamercn Indigo Beach Resort and Spa, is also located right along the water with great views. Being the farthest hotel from Port-au-Prince on our list, it is not one to cross off; with a 4.2 out of 5-star rating, it is great for visitors.
Where to go and what to do:
Musée du Pathéon National, is located in downtown Port-au-Prince, it is dedicated to the idependence and cultural to Haitians. This beautiful museum is know for its cenic outdoor foutains and openness to pictures and videos. It is near two inviting parks, one with the Le Marron Inconnu, a landmark symbolizing pride and freedom. The other park, Champ de Mars, includes an incredible restaurant called, Les Jardins du Mupanh, which comes with wonderful reviews about the food and service.
Marina Blue Haiti, is a recreion center that provides a great sunsewt cruise that is highly recomended. This always you to see the best and most beautiful parts of Haiti. It is only and hour to two haor drive from the center of Port-au-Prince, Haiti; and so worth the trip.
If you love nature Bassn Bleu, Frcy is for you, it is a cute tourist attraction, with a great view of a waterfall. It is about an hour and half south of Port-au-Prince.
There are many small to large mesueams in the city of Port-au-Prince that you should make time to see. They are the most unique and cultrue filled places to go. They allow you to get a feel of the history of Haiti and the Caribbean. Below is a list of places to check out all near one another.

I loved your blog! It has everything listed for the assignment and it was detailed but I wish that there could have been pictures of the places to visit in Haiti added in this post but overall it is good!
